Let me introduce you to an extension of my team… Cloud Nine Web Design (a.k.a. my web guy). I promised myself I wasn’t going to make this into a “Why You Should Hire Cloud Nine” blog post (because really… you should) but rather a case study into what they needed for personal brand and headshot photography.
Since Ed is a website guru, he understands how important it is to have great personal brand images on his website. Like most of my clients, Ed knew what they didn’t want for their personal brand and headshot session. When we talked about what they needed, he mentioned they needed some basic headshots and a group shot for their website but didn’t want anything “too formal” and they wanted to highlight a little bit of the community where they live.
As you see, I captured some typical headshots but also some fun candid images. We found a great outdoor spot that had a little bit of an urban feel and between the location and their wardrobe choices, everything was very casual. I also took some horizontal images for their individual headshots so they can be used as website banners or cropped vertically. Knowing how fun Ed, Jess, and Anthony are in real life, these images don’t do them justice!
As a small business owner (and mainly a solopreneur), I know I have to surround myself with people who will be just as passionate about my business as I am, which is why I’m excited to have Cloud Nine as part of my team.
