All brand photography sessions take place on-location, meaning the location(s) of your choice. The number of locations per session is determined by the amount of time for your session, driving distance between locations, and the session timeline we establish. Any fees associated with locations are at your expense.

All headshot sessions are based in my studio located in Morris, Illinois with an available option to have the session at the location of your choice. Mileage fees may apply.

While I prefer to shoot outside, I vary my lighting set-up depending on the location. I'm skilled to determine the best lighting source for your brand style and location. I also have a studio that can serve different lighting set-ups.

The number of final images you receive is determined by the session package you choose. For an average 1-hour photo session, you will typically review 40-70 images to choose your final images from. All final images are delivered as high resolution digital files.

All sessions include basic color correction on all images. Brand photography sessions include facial retouching (i.e. skin softening, blemish removal) on up to 5 images. Headshot photography sessions include facial retouching on 1 image. Additional fees may apply for extra or extensive retouched images.

I include a 2 business day turn-around time to view your gallery and once you have chosen your final images, an additional 2 business days to deliver your edited images. Rush services are available for an additional fee.

All branding sessions include a 3-year digital usage license for you to use on your website, social media, and small printed marketing material. During this time, you own the images and do not need to give credit when using the images. After 3 years, you have the option to purchase additional licensing extensions or schedule a new brand photography session.

Do I need a commercial license? Great question! Typically, a commercial license is needed if you plan to earn a direct profit from the image (i.e. book cover or online store) or if the image is going to be used in large print media (i.e. billboard). Commercial licensing is available for an additional fee.

Absolutely! As part of our pre-session planning, I am happy to have a wardrobe consult either in-studio, video call, or emailed pictures.

I suggest bringing props to all brand photography sessions. They can be as simple as a planner, pen, cell phone, tablet, laptop, etc. During our pre-session planning, we will discuss exactly which props you will bring and how to coordinate the props with your brand. Once I know which props you will use, I will bring additional styling elements to incorporate into the photos or for flat lay images.
