My number 1 request for personal brand photography sessions is outdoors. Outdoor photography sessions any time of the year are beautiful, but I don’t think indoor personal brand photo sessions get enough credit. When my client, Toni, scheduled her personal brand photography session for January, she knew we would most likely have to be indoors but that didn’t mean we couldn’t pull-off the professional and laidback styles she wanted.
Meet Toni! Toni is a speaker, educator, and grant writer (just to name a few of her titles) and one of the kindest people you will ever meet. When we started planning her personal brand photography session, she was mainly needing images for her website where she wanted images that reflected her professionalism and images that showed her cozy side too. The corner library Toni has in her home was the perfect location to capture a formal headshot, as well as a few action shots of her working.
When Toni isn’t writing, speaking, or teaching, she can usually be found curled up with a book and her dog, Finley. Finley is Toni’s little sidekick and can almost always be found just a few feet from Toni, so it was only fitting to include him in Toni’s personal brand photography session. Toni’s other sidekick (a.k.a. husband), Gary, also updated his headshot during the session for an upcoming book launch.
Any well-planned personal brand photo session wouldn’t be complete without a few flat lay images. I like to think of flat lay images as customized stock photos for your business. From Toni’s session, we highlighted her business’s logo items.
Don’t think you have to wait until the weather outside is perfect to plan a personal brand photography session. Photo sessions can happen all year long and an indoor photo session in your home or office can be the perfect location to showcase your brand. I will work with you to plan, style, and create authentic professional photos for your business. Contact me today to schedule a consultation.
